The editor

Create a document, format text, insert images, use AI completion, and rely on autosave.

The editor is a rich-text drafting surface with AI assistance built in. This guide covers the everyday flow.

Create a document

From the documents list, choose New document and start typing. Set the title inline in the header. The documents list shows everything you have, with when each was last updated.

Format text

The editor is a full rich-text surface. You can:

Apply headings, lists, and inline formatting.
Build tables.
Use slash commands to insert blocks quickly.
Add emoji and mentions.
Use a drag handle to reorder blocks.

Markdown shortcuts work as you type, so you can stay on the keyboard.

Drop or pick an image and it is stored in your workspace's isolated, encrypted storage and shown in the document. The upload is recorded in the audit trail. File names never become part of the stored object.

Use AI completion

The editor has AI assistance built in:

Continuations. Trigger an AI completion to continue your draft.
Selection actions. Select text and ask the assistant to fix, extend, reduce, simplify, summarize, or translate it.

All AI assistance runs through the platform's approved AI path. See AI and PHI.

Autosave

Your work autosaves as you type, with a status indicator showing saving, saved, or a save error. There is a final save when you leave the page, so you do not lose recent edits.
