AI Operations

The runtime quality environment: protections against AI harm, AI cost, and protected-data exposure, plus logging, emergency stop, undo, and monitoring.

AI Operations is where the skills and agents you create or buy run full time. It is the runtime quality environment: the controls, limits, and records that make it safe to let AI act on your operation day after day, rather than only under supervision in a test.

AI Operations is the run-time counterpart to AI Studio. Studio is where you create and test a skill or an agent. Operations is where it runs in production, under the protections described here.

What it protects against

  • AI harm. An agent acts only through the tools it is allowed to use, inside your tenant's roles. Write actions are withheld from agent surfaces unless they are explicitly granted, so a wrong answer stays a wrong answer instead of becoming a wrong change.
  • AI cost. Runs are metered, and usage is visible by day, so an expensive loop shows up as a number rather than as a surprise. See Audit and usage.
  • Protected-data exposure. Every run stays inside your tenant, resolved on the server, and every touch of protected data is recorded. See Security for the public posture.

The runtime controls

  • Logging. Every run leaves a record: what ran, on whose behalf, which tools it used, and what it produced.
  • Emergency stop. A single control halts running work when something looks wrong, without waiting for the current step to finish.
  • Undo. Where an action can be reversed, Operations exposes the reversal rather than leaving you to unwind it by hand in the underlying system.
  • Monitoring. Live status for what is running now, what failed, and what is queued, alongside connector health.

What runs here

  • Skills. A discrete, reusable capability an agent can run. See Skills.
  • Agents. A specialist that can combine several skills under one overarching workflow.
  • Items from the marketplace. Anything you buy from AI Marketplace runs here once it is tested in Studio.
